ASTM A36 hot Rolled mild steel bars are used for general purpose applications. This steel is a low carbon grade, having good over-all mechanical properties. WHAT IS COLD DRAWN STEEL BAR?
Cold drawing hot rolled bars is accomplished by pulling (drawing) a bar through a mould which is smaller than the incoming hot rolled size.
